upside down Christmas tree!

I was in John Lewis yesterday and guess what I saw?!..

Yes, an upside down (or reversible) Christmas tree. WHY?

Why would anyone want one? It's complete madness! Has the world gone crazy or is it just another item that states how individualistic we all are?

I'm not having a tree this year to make my point. What that point is, I'm yet to decide.
